CLC Support of the Corvette Club of Windsor Show

June 11th

The Windsor Corvette Club's 2017 Waterfront Corvette Show held on June 11th was a great success, both for their club, as well as for our CLC members who competed.  There were about 210 Corvettes at the show.  It was HOT, but since the show is right on the Detroit River, there was a breeze to help ease the heat.  Those attending from CLC included:  Terry, Rene', Nancy, Rebecca, John & Sue, Jim & Ruth, Bill and Bonnie, and Jim R.  Those receiving trophies included: Rene' - 2nd Place for C4 Concours Competition, Jim R - Honorable Mention for C5 Show & Shine, John & Sue - 1st Place for C5 S&S, and Bill & Bonnie - 1st Place for C7 S&S.  Rebecca and Jim & Ruth had worked hard on their cars to compete in the C7 Concours class, but the competition in this class was strong.  So, next time for sure. The group returned to the States to celebrate a great day with dinner at Las Palapas Mexican restaurant in Livonia.
