CLC Trip to 'Showdown 2' hosted by the Competition Corvette Club of Toledo

On an overcast - but warm and dry - Saturday, August 10^th 14 CLC members in 10 Corvettes had a great caravan cruise from the Plymouth Elks to the Toledo waterfront area for the “Showdown 2” car show hosted by the Competition Corvette Club of Toledo. There were over 100 cars that participated in the show, mostly Corvettes, plus a few Mustangs, Mopars, Chevys and a 1936 Ford! Once again CLC Corvettes were well recognized with CLC members taking home 8 class trophies:

After the show we all had a great dinner and drinks on the Forrester’s Restaurant Patio on the riverfront then caravanned toward home and of course capped off the day with a stop for ice cream – at Blue Sky Ice Cream and Hamburgers.
