Corvette Legends first Family Picnic!
What a wonderful idea that resulted in a fantastic event as the first (maybe annual) Club Picnic was held at Camp Dearborn. A beautiful summer day with a record member turnout proved to be a great time for all. Of course it all started with food and drink - all those homemade dishes and desserts - do we have some great cooks in the club or what? The club provided the main course and nobody should have gone home hungry. The bean bag toss, ladder toss, Frisbees, (1950's style) Jarts, put-put golf, playground and of course the water balloon's kept everyone active for the whole afternoon. The little ones really enjoyed the pail of toys that they each received - especially the squirt guns. Thanks to all who brought food and drink.
Thanks to Jim and Sandy for their great idea and hard work organizing our first family picnic.
